The build works fairly easy. Most things just activate passive while you play. Just be sure, to dodge regularly, you'll get a lot of protection and extra dmg, if you keep up your resolution buff. Regular swapping between the legends is also highly recommended (basically on CD).
1) If you but Heart of Thorns or Path of Fire you'll get a level 80 boost included as part of the purchase. It's in the standard edition so you don't need to pay extra for the Deluxe or Ultimate, and if you buy both expansions you'll get 2 boosts. 2) You can buy the boost from the gem store for 2,000 gems.

There's a pretty good variety of level-appropriate zones for any level range. Hell, I even went back and did some of Queensdale when I got (extremely) burnt out in Mount Maelstrom. There will always be a class you love, but a class that you love more.

Character adventurer guide until lv30-40 then farming bonus exp from kills and doing some events (until lv65 ish if you want to do crafting), Octovine for the last ~4 levels. Takes about 4-5 hours total. Tomes of Knowledge/Lv80 boost are faster if you have them. As always a boost is the fastest.
But as VeeSlays already stated, I would recommend to NOT use it on your first character, because the leveling process is kind of an extended tutorial and unlocking the mechanics step by step helps you to learn all these systems without getting overwhelmed.
