S Type 2.7 Diesel Battery. Hi all, anyone recommend a good battery for 2007 S-type 2.7D, Ive had a couple of bosch batteries, good to start with but after about 3 months lazy to start and a few electrical errors due to low voltage, fit new battery then good again for a few month, alternator & wiring all in good order. Hi All. My 1st venture on this site so fingers crossed you can help. I have a 2004 S type 2.7 diesel and the restricted performance message and amber engine light has come on. This reduces the acceleration down to low revs and therefore could be dangerous. If i turn the ignition on and of a few times the message goes away but amber light stays on.
