It’s here that I discovered one of the CZ P07’s few flaws… There aren’t many flaws, but the trigger of this specific gun’s double-action is one of them. It’s incredibly heavy, to the point where you worry it might break if you pull it too hard. You likely won’t break it, though. With that said, the trigger itself works flawlessly.
The Omega also has some unique badging vs the CZ 75 classic. Additionally, field stripping is harder on the CZ 75b vs the Omega. That’s because the CZ 75B Omega has been redesigned to be simpler and use fewer parts. Other than that, the classic CZ 75 vs Omega are essentially the same gun. the CZ 75B Omega even has the same MSRP as the 75B at
The P01 has the standard trigger, works fine. It has the decocker. My Omega is one of the first in the states, I was told it was part of a build for a Central or South American police buy, which was backed out on. I got it for all of $400. The trigger is lighter than a standard metal CZ, maybe a bit longer DA draw.
Using needle nose pliers, I give it a VERY SLIGHT added bend. place the trigger bar and trigger back into place, and pre-set the trigger by slightly putting in the trigger pin to hold in place. Place the trigger return spring back into place, with the long arm going into the slot on the frame, and the shorter arm going into the trigger.
The trigger stock was around 5.5 lbs. SA, 12 lbs. DA but the worst part was the stock DA it was just long, heavy and creepy , a bit gritty. its fine for a service weapon but I sort of became a trigger snob on my CZ after I ordered a SP-01 from CZ Custom and had a trigger job done, it spoiled me on every other stock CZ. what I wanted was to fix
